Fixeringsenhet

Fixeringsenheten är den del i din skrivare som fixerar utskriften i pappret. Tonerpulvret i utskriften ligger praktiskt taget löst på pappret när den kommer fram till fixeringsenheten. Där värms papper och pulver upp så att pulvret smälter och tränger in i pappret. När pulvret har stelnat igen är utskriften färdig. Fixeringsenheten har lång livslängd och behöver normalt bara bytas när skrivaren meddelar det.
