Bowie David: The Mercury demos

An LP of 10 songs recorded live in one take to a Revox reel to reel tape machine in David"'s latest flat in Beckenham, spring 1969. Also featuring John "'Hutch"' Hutchinson, this session was basically the duo"'s set list at the time and was recorded at the request of Mercury Records A&R man Calvin Mark Lee who wanted to send them to his boss Bob Reno, both of whom are referenced in the 41 minute recording. The demos were key in securing David his deal with Mercury. The "'Mercury Demos"' set will come in a replica of the original tape box and will feature 1LP, Contact Sheets x 2, Print, and Notes. The LP is mono and plays at 33 1/3 r.p.m.
