McVie Christine: Songbird 1984-2004

The longtime Fleetwood Mac keyboardist, songwriter and lead vocalist has also released several well-loved solo albums. Songbird includes tracks from 1984"'s Christine McVie, featuring contributions by Steve Winwood, Eric Clapton, Mick Fleetwood, Ray Cooper, and Billy Burnette, produced by Russ Titelman. It also features tracks from 2004"'s In The Meantime, produced by Ken Caillat, including two unreleased songs from those sessions. The release culminates with a beautiful new version of McVie"'s ""Songbird"" with string accompaniment, which will be the featured track around the release. The compilation and remastering were overseen by legendary producer, Glyn Johns, who worked together with Christine McVie on the project. The packaging includes a new Q & A liner note with Christine and noted UK Radio Presenter, Johnnie Walker.
