Peace in the name of religion!

Can religions be a self-evident force for good in the public space? The increasing secularisation of society and global conflict are feeding religious scepticism and the attitude that lifeviews are a private concern and religion a hotbed of conflict. However, contrary to the prevalent generalisations about violence, conflict and religion, many people of faith regard each other’s differences with respect – and share the same desire for a just peace.
