Pvris: White Noise

Pvris: White Noise

Ginza

Rise Records would like to introduce you to PVRIS (pronounced: paris) and their debut full length ""White Noise"". After witnessing their performance on the 2013 Vans Warped Tour, Rise quickly worked to sign the Boston 3-piece. Things are moving fast, and people are taking notice. After spending the end of 2013 and beginning of 2014 working on ""White Noise"" the band hit the road on the Rise Records & Friends Tour, right into a string of dates on the 2014 Warped Tour. The debut single ""St. Patrick"" was released during Warped Tour and received exceptionally well. Combining Rise"'s built in fan-base and PVRIS"' knack for writing upbeat, accessible but unique pop songs, the band really came out swinging. Critics and PVRIS"' peers in the scene have all taken notice, leading the video for St. Patrick to gain airplay on MTV as well as allowing the band to secure support slots on tours alongside Mayday Parade, Emarosa, Anthony Green, Tonight Alive and more this fall around the release. The album was recorded and mixed by Blake Harnage (Versa Emerge) and Jeff Juliano (Paramore, We The Kings, Train, John Mayer). Frontwoman Lynn Gvnn is both charming and mysterious, proving her confidence and dedication through her songwriting, stage presence and in interviews. When speaking to Huffington Post about being the first female-fronted band on Rise, PVRIS is the kind of band that gets people talking, the kind of band where you tell your friends they have to check it out. White Noise touches on themes of loss, spirituality, and coming to terms with the choices you"'ve made. At 20 years old, Lynn tackles these concepts in a mature and relatable fashion over super infectious music. The band blends edgy electronic music over grooving drums and melodic guitar work, and the result is a record that transcends genres. PVRIS is poised to be the next big thing from Rise Records. PVRIS is the real deal.
