Nick Saxon is an Aquarium program astronaut who is called upon to assist in the recovery of a failed, top-secret Aquarius. Saxon and his partner, Tony Burgess, must lead the search for six Aquarius astronauts, including Saxon"'s best friend, Joe Shay and Saxon"'s ex-wife Deborah Saxon; but the astronauts do not want to be found.
