The second volume truly is ""Another Brazilian Love Affair"", presenting even more masterpieces and hidden gems. With ""Joao Gilberto"", his third album, we complete the great trilogy of the singer and guitarist who symbolizes all the mysteries and virtues of Bossa Nova. When he and his colleagues conquered New York"'s legendary Carnegie Hall in the heart of Manhattan in 1962, the tape machines were running, so we can still enjoy the magic of this overwhelming evening. Tom Jobim, Vinícius de Moraes and Billy Blanco also transport us back to the early years of the Bossa Nova. Many of the artists who did not make it onto Vol. 1 simply due to lack of space are finally on this new 10 CD set, like the wonderful singer and guitarist Bola Sete, the virtuosic Walter Wanderley and, of course, Sergio Mendes with his debut album.
