Super light by name, super-light by nature. adidas Originals' SL 72 runner is back from the archives once more. Making its first appearance at the 1972 Munich Olympics, this pair stays true to the shape of the '72 OG with a slim profile and narrow toe box. Woven nylon uppers ensure a super-light feel, while supportive suede overlays feature on the T-toe, heel, mudguard and eyelets for added durability. On the underside, there's a streamlined EVA midsole and a rubber toe-bumper to prevent any scuffs to the suede toe panels. They're signed off with a serrated rubber outsole - which harks back to adidas' classic traction dynamics systems. FV9787
