Players take Dante on a journey through the nine circles of hell: no mans land, lust, gluttony, greed, anger, heresy, violence, fraud and treason. Each circuit has its own distinct appearance with unique demons, monsters and damned. All environments are created according to Alighieris pictorial descriptions. In order to deal with the demons of hell, Dante is equipped with two primary weapons: the Lien he stole from Death and the Holy Cross he received from Beatrice. The cross has divine powers and helps Dante to gather souls and enchantments from the beings he defeated. The game also has an extensive upgrade system for players to adapt their skills to their personal style of play. Something they will surely need when Dante is put face to face with the hells cruelest beasts and bosses. Dante can also tame certain monsters, control their will and turn the whole hell of evil against hell itself. Dantes Inferno is produced using the same technology as the award-winning Dead Space and delivers a fast and fluid combat experience with a superb feel. All action takes place in at least 60 frames per second and the game is a must for all action adventure fans. Dantes Inferno is developed by Visceral Games and the team has shown the same accuracy and attention to detail as in their successful game Dead Space.
