We're continuing the resurgence of adidas Originals' SL series by bringing back another beauty from their archive, the SL 76. Making its debut just in time for the 1976 Montreal Olympics, the SL 76 was the second instalment in adidas' 'Super-Light' range. Remaining true to the specs of the OG, a combination of lightweight nylon and supportive suede overlays build the uppers, with a ghilly-loop lacing system that enables you to tighten your laces from the top to the bottom with one quick pull. On the underside, there's a streamlined EVA midsole and a rubber toe-bumper to prevent any scuffs to the suede toe panels. They're signed off with a serrated rubber outsole - which harks back to adidas' classic traction dynamics systems - and ensures steady grip. FW7166
